Both extension program specialists will focus on developing and delivering educational programs, as well as conducting applied research, to address challenges faced by beekeepers in their respective regions. CAES / Bee Program / Master Beekeeper Program / Welsh Honey Judge Licensing Since 2001, we have offered training and certification for honey show judges in the time-honored tradition of the Welsh system from the United Kingdom. The Welsh training is the most stringent of its kind in the world for aspiring honey judges. UGA and the University of Florida have the only two partnerships of their kind between the USA and United Kingdom. The American Honey Show Training Council is modeled closely after the Welsh Honey Judge training system.
